Wow, so it's been a while huh? How bout that.

Generally: I'm happy, Wendi's my best friend in the universe, and Eric's a great boyfriend (a year and a half in Feb) and being a senior would be much cooler if it was over and I could go to college. However, given that it's not that easy, it's been fine.

Got a call from the National Guard today, wanted to know if I wanted to enlist. Well, he was pretty nice for being someone trying to persuade me to do something I would hate, so I guess all in all not the worst phone call I've ever gotten.

My arm is SO sore, and I just hurts to move it in anyway. I had no idea that when you get a tetnis shot, they inject a small amount of tetnis into your system. No wonder my arm is rebelling.

Here's to me trying this again...possibly, or at least doing it one more time.

The year is slowly winding down...

I'm beginning to study for finals (since I'm taking a few early) and in no time at all I'll be behind the counter of the Jigger Shop taking orders from people who's main goal in life is to make me cry. Little do they know, I'm one tough cookie. (In truth I'm really excited to work there...most of the customers don't hate life).

I'm kind of tired of big projects. Especially those that serve little purpose...

On the other hand, I feel like I'm getting to know some great people better than I did before. I guess school balances itself out that way. Projects + cool people = neutral.

Dan's making me consider taking Latin 4 despite its absolute worthlessness as far as educational value goes, and it's ability to make me scream. Perhaps I will.

All-stars tomorrow and the day after and the day after that. Or perhaps not...we'll see.

Final thought: Me + asian = Tina? Who knew.

My weekend and why it was amazing (a list created by Andrea for your entertainment)

Friday: Challenge day (aka: be outside and do nothing while skipping classes day. Count me in). Afterschool the Lacrosse team had a game (which we lost like champions, but it is still better than practice). Then I saw Willow, and went to Ritas because my friends are amazing. Finally, I saw the late showing of Rocky Horror in the Allen which was so offensive and hilarious that I would do it again in a second. Alas, that was my first and last time being a "slut".

Saturday: Spent $50 on comics and got a free shirt! Ate wings with Alex and Xena followed by eating at Damon's with Wendi and Nick (and Eric of course), and then going back to their house to watch Day of the Dead (absolutely horrible movie, but worth renting if you want a good laugh or to see some truly gory and greusome special effects) as well as the discovery channel's "the future is wild" series where we learned about the mega squid and squibbens.

Sunday: Bought MK: Deadly Alliance new for less than $5 and played it for the better part of the afternoon with my amazing boyfriend.

That was probably boring as hell. But I wanted a record of the fun I had so basically, I don't really care.

I have SAT's, a trip to New York City, and seeing David Bowie in concert to look forward to...some, more than others. Woot.

In conclusion, my weekend was great, I have more fun awaiting, and Eric Lundberg is my best friend in the entire world and I love him.

I know this wasn't funny or interesting...but I'm tired.

I'm not really sure why I'm updating now, I should be showering...

Helping to coach middle school lacrosse is interesting to say the very least. Makes for a good senior project though! I turned in my proposal letter today, maybe I can get this all done before vacation (I'm not doing a damn thing for senior projects over summer).

The skit today went well I think; which is quite a relief since it's our last big project for awhile. At least until after the AP test...aka, the last hard thing I'm doing in English all year. And to top it all off it was a lot of fun, thanks girls who were in it, you're freaking amazing.

Lacrosse is going really well despite the fact that we consistently lose...I really don't see that as being our teams lack of effort as much as a lack of experience. For all but five of the girls (myself included) that played last year, it's their first season, so in that light, we're amazing.

Mass media is fun for the first time in ages. We have to do a top five list video project, so my group (consisting of Chris Horn and Breyena Lehman and myself) decided to do "The top five reasons that we hate video". Finally, something to do with video that we actually enjoy.

My arm is entirely too sore from three hours of practice (2 hours varsity, one hour middle school). We ran two miles to start off the varsity practice, and thank goodness. I didn't get a chance to run last Sunday because of daylight saving time and I was feeling sluggish.

I don't know how Mariah does it, I'm trying so hard to remember those middle school girls names on top of my own team who are mostly girls in other grades that I had never seen before, and it's quite a struggle.

Calc test tomorrow and Atlantic Monthly discussion Thursday so I need to get studying/reading.

(6 days until my 8 month anniversary!)

Happy Easter week all.

If I were snow...and it were mid-March in Pennyslvania...where would I be? Apparently blocking the lacrosse field and any chance of swimsuits in the near future. Dammit. It's skimpy clothes time and the snow knows it.

Recently finished reading a 10 page (back and front) Puritan speech for English that summarized said: "If you don't believe in God you will die and then be subjected to a fiery torment for all eternity and no matter what you do (with the obvious exception of believing in Christ) you cannot stop him and it's only his current fancy that you aren't dead already since he (and I quote) hates you. Mmm. Just stirs up a whole pot of love in your stomach no? Hurray for angry and vengeful gods! Sign me up for two.

Reading the Atlantic Monthly is like dissecting your eyeballs while watching a Ricki Lake special on "Women who are overweight and refuse to cover up". Interesting? Yes. Worthwhile? That's questionable.

Seeing as how this entry thus far has been thoroughly negative I'm going to spice it up. I LOVE LACROSSE PRACTICE AND (virtually) EVERYONE THERE! To say that this year is amazing wouldn't be going far enough. True, we have little skill and even less time to acquire it (our first game being Monday at Alcoa field *nudge nudge*) but the girls are amazing, old and new. Every single girl that I've spoken with at practice is funny, smart, and sweet. I love them so much. The only person I really have a problem with is Dude McCool, and what can I honestly do about him?

Eric and I recently celebrated 7 months (he's so perfect!). Not exactly one of those anniversaries you get all dressed up for, but it was well spent and I'm lucky to have been with him for so long (I love him). Made a guest appearance on another (now dating *winks*) couples date that night to the dismay of one and exacerbation of the other (but Tara still loves me). That was a cute thing to do (I thought  ~_O) and then we whisked ourselves over to DQ which we had coupons for and shoveled delicious ice-cream confections. Anniversaries aren't about glam and glitter...they are about annoying budding young lovers and eating ice cream for less than advertised.

Wendi's birthday is coming up! I just hope that she likes my presents. Only one comes in actual gift form. The other...tra la la. Breyena's birthday is also coming up a week later...too many people with too many special occasions *laughs* I'll be broke.

Like lacrosse, gym is an outlet for the day. I have amazing teams for intramurals and regular gym class that kick everyone elses ass (hard).

Other than that I just have more reading to do than I know how to finish. *shrugs* I guess that's what I get for thinking after debates were over I'd get to relax. Oh well...there's always summer. (Or perpetual snow...depending.)
